USEMCO Top Vault in Schuylkill County, PA
This pump station in Schuylkill County, PA was in critically poor shape with failing pumps, unsafe electrical panel and dilapidated fencing. Situated in a small development, the low flow didn’t merit spending huge sums of money to refurbish the site.
The USEMCO Top Vault was selected by the contractor due to its low-cost and quick delivery. Sulzer-ABS Piranha grinder pumps were installed as part of the package. The existing fiberglass pit was left in place, a small concrete pad was poured to help support the Top Vault, and all fencing and panels were removed.

A year later, and we have never re-entered the pit. ABS’s single guide rail make pulling the pumps a breeze; all other components are above ground.
