Package Pump Station

Very high head of over 200ft.  Shallow wetwell causing NPSHA concerns.  Dry-well could flood.  Existing pumps were utilizing pumps in series with double shafted motors and were unreliable, expensive to repair with considerable down-time.

ABS high head, 200HP, closed-loop cooled, dry-pit submersible wastewater pumps were selected.  Because there was no room in the existing building to build a top floor to keep the controls out of the lower pump room, Usemco’s Power-Shak complete building-control solution was selected with Usemco’s Sentry controller. – Summit, NJ
