North Idaho WWTP Needed a Portable Diesel WW Pump

A North Idaho WWTP had some older portable diesel bypass pumps. One was beyond its useful life and started costing too much to maintain and operate.

Reiner Pump Systems suggested Pioneer Pumps 6” Pioneer-Prime diesel system with a 58HP engine, vac-assisted priming (50 cfm), dry-run capability, and built-in level and auto-start controls on a DOT trailer.  Sound attenuated enclosures are available. They use it for in-plant fluid movement and emergency bypass for their lift stations. Flows from 400-800 gpm and heads from 10-180 ft.  Purchased in Jan ’21.

From the Plant’s Chief Operator: “We have been very impressed with the Pioneer Pump so far. It primes very fast and is easy to operate. It has definitely exceeded my expectations.”
