An Essex County wastewater treatment plant needed a reliable dry-prime diesel pump for emergencies and to empty tanks for maintenance.

After evaluating several options, Pioneer was selected for the fast priming and vortex impeller. The Pioneer UltraPrime system uses a mechanically driven diaphragm style vacuum pump to prime the pump at an industry fastest 50 cubic feet per minute. The recessed vortex impeller passes large solids and rags better than traditional enclosed impellers. – Essex County
