Make a portable bypass diesel pump from an old generator
Local contractor needed a large bypass pump for an extended period of time. Rental costs were high.
Reiner Pump Systems recommended using a Pioneer Prime SAE package that mounts to most existing diesel engines. The contractor used an old generator that had a good engine. This 12” pump 200HP package is capable of flows to 5000gpm and heads to 200ft. The contractor also purchased a 6” Pioneer Prime package that they will be mounting to a 40HP electric motor. This pump system does flows to 2000gpm and heads to 75ft. The Pioneer Prime positive displacement priming system can remove air at 50 CFM which is 5 to 10 times faster than competing products.
